It's getting crazy around here with these gourds. (Not complaining) I'm just in awe. Definitely some of the largest gourds I've ever grown. I cannot wait to see what the final harvest looks like.

The bird house gourds have gone completely off script. Just doin' their own thing & taking up as much space as possible. 😅 I'm here for it, this may be the largest patch I've had in a while! ❤️🐦🏠

Harvested another luffa today!
For those of you who don't know about luffa seeds; the dark seeds are the most mature and viable. The white/gray seeds especially if they feel empty aren't mature and are not worth replanting. This luffa is washed and ready to start its drying process before becoming sponges for me. 😅 🧽

Harvested two small luffas this morning. Got them drying on my porch coffee table, they're too small to hang up to dry. They'll still make good dish sponges, but I'm so tickled they've finally started this year. I've got a really good one hanging on the vine! They're behind on producing because of the crazy weather patterns we've had since April, and I honestly thought I would lose them all, but I'm happy I was wrong! ❤️🧽
