❄️ UPDATE FOR TODAY ❄️

Hey everyone! 👋 After a very chilly day serving yesterday & looking at today’s forecast of snow turning to sleet & possible freezing rain, we’ve made the tough call to cancel service for today. 🥶😭

As much as we’d love to be out there again, we never want to compromise the quality of our food or the safety of our family & customers. It takes hours of prep and smoke time to bring everything to life, & with this type of weather we just don’t foresee many folks braving the cold. Even for a delicious pork chop & we totally understand why!

We appreciate you all so much, and we’re so grateful for those who stopped by yesterday. It may not have been our busiest Flora day, but the few of you who did make the trip warmed our hearts more than the heaters did. 🧡

An incredible Clay County weekend!! 🧡💙🐺

We came home expecting to serve some food, cheer on the Wolves, & soak up a little small town energy…..instead we got to be part of something so much bigger.

From the moment we rolled into Flora, you could feel it! The excitement, the pride, the heartbeat of this community was pulsing. Watching these boys play their hearts out, seeing the stands packed, hearing the horns, the cheers, the iconic parade through town… it reminded us exactly why we’ll always be proud to call Flora home. 🐾

And then to top it off… THE WOLVES WON!!!

Thank you to Coach Tackitt & quarterback/kicker Parker Helm for meeting us to present the check. Parker gave us chills with that epic field goal 👏 🙌
And a special thanks to Bobby McNeely for helping us coordinate everything 🧡
We were honored to tailgate for everyone & even more honored to donate 15% of our sales back to the Flora Wolves Football Program.
Supporting these kids, this program, and this town will always be something close to our hearts.

Hey Flora Wolves Football !!! We heard you’re headed into a historic second-round playoff, and we want to help celebrate with you!

This Saturday (11/8), Gilkys Smokeshow will be set up inside the gates of Dancey Field, opening at 12:00 PM for all your tailgate cravings while we get ready to cheer on the Wolves. Kickoff is at 2 PM!

We’re also proud to announce that 15% of all our sales will be donated back to the Flora Wolves Football Team to support this incredible season and the program that shaped so many of us. 💙🧡🐺

TONIGHT IN FLORA! 🧵🔥 BBQ + QUILTS = YES PLEASE

We’ll be set up at The First Christian Church this evening starting at 5:00 PM to serve dinner for the amazing ladies of the Sew Nifty Sisterhood Quilt Guild—and you’re invited too!

Whether you’re just hungry for some good BBQ or curious about quilting, tonight’s a great chance to do both. The Quilt Guild is open to new members and full of creative, kind-hearted folks who meet once a month, take trips, and work on beautiful quilt patterns together.

So swing by, grab some food, and if you’ve ever thought about learning to quilt or joining a fun, crafty community, this is the perfect time to ask questions and make some new friends. 🪡❤️

We’ll be open from 5 PM - 8 PM or until we sell out, but please note we’ll be serving guild members around 6 PM, so thank you for being patient during that time!

After selling out in just 2 hours at Charley Brown Park on the 4th of July, Gilkys Smokeshow is rolling back into town! This time at Walmart in Flora! 🐖 🍽 🚚
