The People Behind the Product: Meet Val
Behind every Grande product is a dedicated Associate who takes pride in making it the best it can be. For Valerie, every piece of hand-tied cheese represents a commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and tradition. After 13 years at Grande, her passion for learning and taking on new challenges led her to become an expert at the hand-tying process.

Hand-tying is a traditional artisan process where each cheese is individually rope-tied, smoked, and cured. It's work that requires patience and attention to detail, something Val enjoys most about the role.

When asked what makes her proud of the work she does, her answer is simple: "Great team, great cheese, and great pride.”
