Friday marked the end of pumpkin, flower and veggie planting! Whoa, it’s been about 4 weeks since the start. Here is went in, in preparation to share with you all in the fall!!

176 pumpkin hills = about 700 pumpkin seeds!!
I truly LOVE pumpkins! Every part (except weeding) makes me excited! The planting, harvesting, saving seeds, decorating! The plant itself is amazing and I just love them. Sooo this is for sure our biggest year yet! It may be the biggest ever due to some changes next year. Plan to get your hands on some of our hand planted, organically grown without chemicals pumpkins! 🎃 We’ve already got some varieties popping!!! And weeds…here we go.

About 20 varieties of dahlias 🌺
An entire sunflower field once again! 🌻 more colors planted so as long as the birds didn’t get to the seeds, we should have white, orange, yellow and red!
Zinnias, cosmos and many more cut flowers for bouquets! 🌼
Tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, peppers! Those are mainly for us but if we have an over abundance beyond us and our families, they may end up in the stand!!! 🍅 🥒

Garlic scapes are **NOW available** for a very limited time! They are delicious sautéed or grilled. They have the perfect light garlic taste and crunch!

These cute little guys are cut from the garlic plant right now so the bulb continuous to put all of its energy into growing big! 🧄

Planting and bee inspecting today by my beekeepers! Did you know you can stand next to a hive and watch them, without them knowing or caring you are there? We have been lucky to have very dosile bees as well. However don’t step in front of the hive, especially when the sun it out and they are coming in hot all day!

We added cut comb frames again this year and hope the bees fill them out! The bees are working harder especially with this warmer weather. Pure cut comb is a delicious part we love as we process our honey. The wax is natures gum!! We hope to offer it to you in the future!

Do this about 120 more times and we’re done! Pumpkin planting is in full swing! I do about 4 different planting days to get it done, then comes the watering and weeding. Lots of work but well worth it for beautiful pumpkins!!

We’ve grown so much since opening in September of 2025, thanks to you all! As we grow, we learn what works, what doesn’t and what our customers are looking for!
