Rascal’s accomplishments this weekend 🐴

For a 2-year-old on his very first trips away from my round pen and arena at home, this was a huge weekend. Young horses often get overwhelmed by all the sights and commotion, but Rascal handled himself like a champ.

✅ Completed his first trail ride
✅ Spent the entire day away from home and stood tied quietly and peacefully
✅ Worked in an unfamiliar arena surrounded by lots of scary banners and distractions

I’m super happy with this guy’s progress. It may not seem like much to some, but for a young horse just starting out, learning to stay calm and confident in new environments is a big accomplishment. Excited to keep building on this foundation! 🤎🐴

Spent the evening working these two! Rascal & Fancy. Both are 2 year olds in for 60 days to get them started. Rascal has been here a month, and I just picked Fancy up today!
