At BGDC we don’t think safety culture is a poster in the break room. It’s a set of behaviors that repeat, shift after shift, until they become the standard. That is why Atlanta was proud to name Trevis Cameron as their Safety Star of the Month.

Trevis was recognized in May as part of their Portrait Series for his motivation and his influence on the associates around him. This month he earns the honor again, this time for the discipline and accountability he brings to safety on second shift.

What stands out is the consistency. Trevis approaches every task with professionalism and precision, steps in to help complete or improve a job when it is needed, and holds a standard that others follow without being told to. Our Safety and Risk team sees it. His shift sees it. Our customers are thankful for it.

Our Roanoke associates just hit 90 consecutive days accident-free, and that milestone belongs to every single person on the floor. It gets built one shift at a time by people who look out for each other, speak up when something is not right, and refuse to cut corners.

Please join us in welcoming Mike Alsip to BGDC Distribution as our new Chief Financial Officer. 👏

Mike comes to us with a background that started in mechanical engineering and grew into financial leadership at GE Appliances and Michelman. In his new role, he will lead BGDC's financial strategy and support our continued growth.

Outside of work, Mike and his family live in the Florence, Kentucky area. He is a University of Kentucky sports fan and gives his time to community service, including volunteering in disaster response efforts.

BGDC Distribution was proud to sponsor the 23rd annual Whirlpool
Community Charity Golf Event in Southwest Michigan.

A record 800+ golfers played across six courses and raised $3 million for
local youth this year. Over 23 years, the event has raised approximately
$40 million for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Southwest Michigan,
First Tee of Benton Harbor, and the public school foundations of Benton
Harbor, Lakeshore, and St. Joseph. It is the single largest annual
fundraiser for every one of those organizations, reaching more than
15,000 young people a year.

Chief Revenue Officer Chad Ware, Chief Operating Officer Jeff Durrough,
and Director of Operations Waldemar Janda were out on the course, and
BGDC sponsored a hole at Harbor Shores.

Supporting the communities where our associates live and work is part of
how we operate.
