So this is the size ribeye steak you get when you actually listen to what your butcher has to say about finishing your beef and how much to feed him, this is from a 1205lb steer that had a hanging weight of 782! Hard to get quality beef when your steer is well under 1000lbs even when you think that its close and your butcher tells you different and your too ignorant to even try to listen cause you think you know everything!

It is with deep regret to inform you that we will not longer be taking in animals for processing! We will be finishing up providing quality service to the customers that we still have in the shop but we will not be butchering anymore after that! A big thank you to all of our customers that have been loyal to us but we are going to be taking a different path!

We want to make a clarification regarding a negative review that is currently circulating on social media.
The two steers referenced were not 1,000 lbs animals. They were much closer to 650–700 lbs live weight. Their combined hanging weight was 842.37 lbs, and the finished, packaged weight totaled approximately 399 lbs, resulting in a 47% yield. This yield is normal and expected for animals of this size, especially when factoring in deboning and customer-selected cuts.
We take our work seriously and operate with honesty and integrity. At no time has meat ever been taken from a customer — never have and never will. We stand firmly behind our process and the work completed.
We understand that meat processing yields can be confusing, and we are always willing to explain weights, yields, and expectations. We encourage anyone with questions or concerns to contact us directly so they can be addressed respectfully and professionally.
