Jordan's Devine dish norwich.
Happened to see a random post on a local food page about this place. Pictures looked good, so figured we'd give it a try tonight for dinner. GLAD we did, and can't believe this place (which is really close to home) has been around for almost 5 years and Ive never tried it. Had the Southern Country fried chicken with country style gravy and biscuit. Coming from someone who grew up in, and has spent alot of time in the south, this is literally the best fried chicken I've had anywhere up here! My gf had the pork schnitzel dinner, which was also excellent! Seasoned and cooked perfectly! For desert we had the Mississippi mud pie and took home a praline bread pudding w/caramel sauce and carrot cake for later. I also may have snagged a Southern triple burger and fries for layer also. Food here was excellent, and a good value. Will definitely be back!

A fine leftover breakfast today. Remnants of a Lancaster smoke house dinner last night (fried pulled pork, and rib meat, brisket, fried brussels, slaw, and corn bread) and sausage patties from starskys. A great start to the day! (Except for breaking the only double yolker in this carton of 747 eggs 🤦‍♂️).

Another one of my favorite meals. Chicken fried steak and eggs w/ potato hash and white gravy 😋 (When ya have these leftovers in the fridge, you may as well seize the opportunity! 🤷‍♂️😁) A plate for myself, and a couple small plates for the littles. Also not usually the deep frying type, so the next batch will be slightly less cooked lol

Gettin back to my southern roots a little bit on this fine Friday evening. First time cooking one of my absolute favs! Chicken fried steak with white, pepper gravy and potatoes. Finished up with my legit, og, banana pudding (with the nilla wafers from my stash). 😋😋😋
Got Vanessa meats to run the steaks through their mechanical tenderizer (used for schnitzel usually). Pretty happy with the results!

Well holy heck, getting pretty good at this brisket smokin thing (if I do say so myself). Best one to date, great bark and excellent smoke ring! Tried out Hardcore Carnivore Black, just gonna say it, this is my new goto! Brisket and jalapeño poppers from Vanessa meats. Butter and dill potatoes and mac salad a la my honey. Finished it off with a banana pudding (first one I've ever made!) 😋😋😋

Gf was searching around for restaurants in the area during our stay in Fort Myers and stumbled onto Fancy's Southern Cafe. The pictures online and menu looked fantastic, so we decided to bring her parents here for dinner. Their bourbon/ whiskey menu is huge. Their selection of foods on the menu covers quite a range as well. Our table started with the frog legs (a 1st for me and my gf!), fried green tomatoes, and deviled eggs. For mains we had the Hot chicken sandwich, filet minion, liver &onions, and (I had my absolute favorite!!) Chicken/country fried steak. Everything was beyond good! My Country fried steak was literally the best one I've had in years! Excellent place to eat. Will definitely be back to try out more of the menu. Only complaint was that they were out of banana pudding, which ironically was what we were searching for when finding them. Can't get it where we live. 🤞🤞 they have it next time. Been craving it awhile.

Honey sesame chicken breast, honey walnut shrimp, and black pepper sirloin steak with chow mein and fried rice.

Blackened grouper sandwich, Mahi Mahi tacos, gator bites, and ceviche. Life is great in Fort Myers beach. 😎🌴🌞 ⛱️

Just something bout a gumbo. 😋😋😋
(My take on one anyways..) sauteed smoked cheese sausage, smoked peameal bacon, shrimp, sausage crumble, red onion, and green onion. Chicken and beef stock with red onion, red pepper, green onion, celery, button mushrooms, corn, and carrots. Changed up my mix this time and added a healthy dose of Old Bay seasoning. No complaints over here 👌
