I NEVER imagined that these babies would bring me so much happiness and love. NEVER in my mind thought they would be the reason I smiled every day, but here we are, my FAVORITE sound EVERYDAY.

They may just want a treat but we will act like they love me as much as I love them 🤣

I’m going to get real for a minute.

I truly believe there’s a reason everything happens the way it does! This sweet baby was born just when I needed her!

I was having to put my dog down on Wednesday, I was an emotional wreck! I needed to just walk, get out of the house for a few minutes. This was one hour before his appointment. I walked outside and found this sweet, tiny baby with her momma. We thought momma couldn’t have babies, we had no idea she was pregnant. I thought the week before she was getting a bag, but she’s overweight and it was hard to be sure. I was so upset and emotionally drained and then found her in the field and had a little bit of happiness brought back! There’s always light at the end of the tunnel and things really do happen in God’s time and just when it’s needed.

Poor pixie could use all the prayers and good vibes! Poor baby got a nasty bite from an unknown source (seems to be of the dog kind). We are doctoring her up, on antibiotics, and she’s in the barn with her momma. This is her second vet trip, and doesn’t seem to mind the backseat of the truck one bit 🤣

If she is not the most perfect baby you’ve ever seen then you need your eyes checked!!

I’ve been waiting for WEEKS for this!!! We left the house for 2 hours yesterday and that’s when Dolly decided to have the most precious baby girl! Momma did a great job! Baby is spunky and full of energy! Already trying to hop and kick!

When you have a nursing pinning ceremony at 4:00 pm and chores at 7:00 pm. All jokes aside, farming isn’t for the weak. I’ve been waiting for Dolly to foal for MONTHS now and we’re getting so close! When I get home from, from any event, the first thing I do is go check her. Shoes and clothes will wash, missing such a beautiful moment or a complication doesn’t.

Stay tuned, we will have a baby donkey, any day!!
