❤️🐐 RED ROOF FARMS GRAND OPENING — NEW DATE! 🐷❤️
Sometimes life has other plans for us, and over the past couple of weeks, ours changed pretty dramatically.
My dad recently suffered a stroke and is still at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa working hard on his recovery. At this point, we aren't expecting to be back home in Arkansas until sometime in mid-to-late September. Right now, being here with him and making sure he has what he needs has to come first.
Because of that, we've made the difficult decision to reschedule the Red Roof Farms Grand Opening.
🎉 OUR NEW GRAND OPENING WEEKEND WILL BE:
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17 & SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18! 🎉
Yes… WEEKEND! Since you're waiting a little longer for us, we're giving you TWO DAYS to come celebrate! ❤️
I won't pretend I'm not disappointed. We've worked incredibly hard toward our original opening date, and I was so excited to finally open those gates and welcome everyone to the farm. But the animals aren't going anywhere, the farm isn't going anywhere, and neither is this dream.
We're simply moving the party. ❤️
And maybe an October opening at a farm isn't such a bad Plan B after all. 🍂🎃🐐
For those who already have a party, private event or Traveling Barnyard visit scheduled with us: Your event is NOT affected by the Grand Opening postponement. We have staff available to help cover our scheduled events, both here at the farm and off-site, and we plan to honor those commitments as scheduled. If anything should change that directly affects your event, we will contact you personally—but at this time, your existing reservation is still on! ❤️
For everyone currently applying or interviewing to join the Red Roof Farms team: Hiring is continuing! We will continue with our scheduled interviews and applicant process. Because our opening date has moved, our anticipated start date will move as well. We plan to begin bringing our new team onboard approximately one to one-and-a-half weeks before Grand Opening so everyone has time for training, orientation and getting comfortable with their responsibilities before we welcome our first guests.
We'll be updating our event information and sharing all the Grand Opening details again as we get closer. If you've been following along, sharing our posts, applying to join our team, planning to attend, partnering with us or simply cheering us on from the sidelines, thank you for your patience, kindness and understanding while we take care of Dad.

❤️ A Quick Thank You & Hiring Update ❤️
We have been absolutely overwhelmed—in the very best way—by the response to our Red Roof Farms job openings! We’ve received so many messages, applications and inquiries from people interested in becoming part of our farm family, and we are incredibly grateful.
I do want to ask for a little patience and understanding if it takes us longer than usual to respond to your message or contact you about an interview.
My dad recently suffered a stroke, and I am currently with him in the hospital in Tulsa. As you can imagine, my attention is divided right now between my family and everything that needs to happen as we prepare Red Roof Farms for opening.
We are still hiring and we WILL be contacting applicants for interviews. A slower response does not mean that we aren't interested or that a position has been filled.
If you have already applied or messaged us, there is no need to send another message—we have you! ❤️ It may just take me a little longer than I had originally planned to work my way through everyone.
Thank you for the incredible response to our little farm and, especially, for giving me a little grace while I take care of someone very important to me.
We can't wait to begin meeting potential members of our very first Red Roof Farms team. 🐐🐷🐰❤️

GRAND OPENING WEEKEND UPDATE!
WOW, Fort Smith! ❤️ We have been absolutely overwhelmed—in the BEST possible way—by the incredible response to our upcoming Grand Opening!
Our official Grand Opening is still Saturday, September 12, but with so many of you telling us you're planning to visit, we want to remind everyone that THE FUN DOESN'T STOP SATURDAY!
RED ROOF FARMS WILL ALSO BE OPEN SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13!
And here's the important part: Sunday visitors will still get all the big Grand Opening weekend attractions!
🎈 Bounce houses
💦 Water slide
🤪 Velcro wall
🐐 Farm animals & activities
🎉 Grand Opening weekend fun
The biggest difference? Sunday admission is only $5 PER PERSON! ❤️
Saturday does have a couple of extra-special visitors:
🚀 Buzz Lightyear • 10 AM–12 PM
🕷️ Spider-Man • 3 PM–5 PM
So if meeting Buzz or Spider-Man is important to your kiddos, Saturday is your day! But if you're coming for the animals, inflatables, water slide, Velcro wall and farm fun, Sunday is a GREAT option—and you'll save a little money, too!
❤️ A SMALL FAVOR FROM US...
We're expecting a wonderful turnout Saturday. We have room for lots and lots of people on farm but apparently we forgot to install a Walmart-sized parking lot. 😂
Please help us spread Saturday arrivals throughout the day rather than everyone arriving right at 10 AM. There's no need to be first through the gate—the fun lasts all day!
All vehicles must be parked in our designated on-property parking areas. If those areas temporarily reach capacity, we may need to pause entry until parking spaces become available. There will be NO roadside parking.
Better yet, if your schedule is flexible, COME SUNDAY! You'll get the same major attractions, potentially a little more breathing room, and $5 admission for everyone.
Most of all, THANK YOU. ❤️ The excitement, shares, comments, messages and support we've received have been incredible. We created Red Roof Farms to give our community an affordable place to slow down, laugh, enjoy animals and make memories together—and we cannot wait to finally welcome you.

Red Roof Farms is getting ready to OPEN THE GATES! 🐷🐰🦙❤️
Our Grand Opening is Saturday, September 12 from 10 AM–6 PM, and we’re looking for a few people to help make the day even more fun for our guests!
🌮 1–2 Food Trucks / Food Vendors
We’d love a couple of great local options for families to grab lunch or dinner while they’re enjoying the farm.
🍧 1 Specialty Treat Vendor
Shaved ice, ice cream, specialty lemonade, kettle corn or another fun treat — surprise us!
🎨✨ Face Painter / Glitter & Temporary Tattoo Artist
We’d LOVE someone who can bring a little extra color and sparkle to the farm! Farm-themed designs would be especially fun. 🐮🐷🐐🦋✨
Our Grand Opening will be a full day of animals, inflatables, pig races, farm activities, photo opportunities and plenty of surprises as we finally introduce Red Roof Farms to our community!

❤️ Today was our very first Red Roof Farms Therapeutic Animal Visit, and our hearts are full!

A huge thank you to the amazing staff, residents, and family members at Fianna Health & Rehab for inviting us to spend the afternoon with you.
Albert Swinestein, Brie, Lulu, Veruka, and Houdi had the best time making new friends, accepting lots of pets, and bringing smiles to so many faces. Hope, Aaron, and I truly enjoyed every moment as well.

Thank you for allowing us to share the joy of the farm with your community. We hope to visit again soon! ❤️🐷🐐🐇
