Veterans will have the opportunity to grow their abilities and their own food through a new horticultural healing program starting this March.
Started by Greenleaf, Urban Gardening and Horticultural Healing, the program will give clients hands on vocational training that combines rehabilitation, healing and allows clients to create a food garden.

Dick's Organics, Liquid Farms, Young Urban Homesteaders!!!
This Friday! It's the official opening day of our farm and we will be planting, w**ding, building and singing!
If you would like to help, here's what we could really use:
folks to help move mulch, w**d, and plant seedlings;
brightly colored outdoor paint (bring us your leftovers!)
river rocks, stepping stones or bricks for paths and labeling plants;
paint brushes, weather sealant, birdhouses.
We will be at the farm, from 9:30am until 6pm, and hope to see YOU there!
My kids really miss your watercress. They asked for it this weekend. Then they wanted to know when they could get it.
