Do you know where your food comes from? Industrial ag, which is incredibly damaging to the earth and soil quality, produces large yields of corn for ethanol, I think it’s 60% or so. While this is not true of all industrial ag - we do, after all, need corn for food, and soy and wheat, and hay and grains for animal feed, it is not the bucolic live-sustaining operation many outside of the farming or commercial scale ag business world are aware of.

Smaller farmers produce most of the vegetables you eat - or those vegetables are imported from other countries.

Support your small, local farmers. They produce healthier, more nutrient rich food that quite simply tastes better. From tomatoes to cucumbers to berries to melons to carrots - give them a chance. They depend on customer support, and shifting production from Mexico or China to local farms is the better way to feed our families and steward the planet. 🌎 💗🧑‍🌾👩🏼‍🌾

Succulent pumpkins are back for the season today. 🎃 they just need a li’l spray of water once a week and they’ll last through Thanksgiving - and possibly Easter. Can’t wait to see you all here today!

My very last bouquet of the season was picked up by a friend today. Summer bouquets are so pretty!

I have plans for fall, winter, and spring flowers that will ease the gray away over the next six months, and I’m excited to try something new here!
