An evening well spent at Hideout 125. 🗝

Beautifully crafted cocktails with a Cheese & Charcuterie set the tone for what was to come. A pleasant surprise (and new favorite) on the board: Pickled Okra

The true centerpiece of the evening was the Wagyu Tomahawk. Perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and meant to be shared. Paired with broccolini, it was rich, indulgent, and absolutely unforgettable.

Hideout 125 continues to prove why it’s one of our favorite spots for a refined night out—elevated dishes, great cocktails, and an atmosphere that invites you to wind down and savor every bite.

Ducky’s at the Pearl was the perfect little cocktail + bite break. 🦆🍸

We shared the Duck, Duck, Dumplings and they were packed with flavor—savory, rich, and the perfect small bite to go with drinks. The Lavender Lemon Drop was a pleasantly delightful cocktail - bright, citrusy with a hint of floral. And you can’t go wrong with an Espresso Martini!

If you’re looking for a great spot for a late afternoon drink and a quick bite, this one is definitely worth checking out.

The Compound brings together two absolute flavor powerhouses - Papi's Pizza and Brixton BBQ - all in one place. It's the perfect spot to grab lunch, and try a little bit of everything. Trust us… you’re going to want both.

We’re talking crispy, cheesy, handcrafted pizza from Papi’s AND legit slow-smoked BBQ from Brixton. Pizza + BBQ in the same stop? Say less.

But the surprise MVP on the menu? Zanahorias.
We know… carrots. But trust us — they were easily the best thing we tried. Smoky, flavorful, and completely addictive. You'll thank us later!

🥂 Bougie & Boozie Brunch at BakerStreet — We Had to Try It! 🍳

Carol and I made our way to BakerStreet to check out their very first Bougie & Boozie Brunch, and of course we couldn’t miss the chance to see what it was all about.

The brunch was set up buffet-style with two options:
✨ Brunch buffet only
🍹 Brunch buffet + two brunch cocktails

Right away, what stood out was the hospitality. The manager was incredibly welcoming and genuinely excited about the event. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a great experience, which made the whole brunch feel even more special.

There’s just something about a relaxed brunch, good food, and a little daytime cocktail that makes for a perfect weekend outing.

Gouda-stuffed crab cakes drenched in Cajun bacon cream sauce... Chef's Kiss. 🤌
And a perfectly seared 14oz Ribeye served with Potatoes Romanoff, and crispy Brussel Sprouts that the chef — thoughtfully halved by the chef for sharing. A full sensory experience with exceptional service.
