Ok Brinsea Peeps:
I’m usually pretty spoiled with Brinsea incubators and not having to run humidity because our ambient humidity is so high, but I’m incubating turkey eggs, which need a higher humidity. I’ve got the tube running into a bottle of water and humidity is at 66-68% which is too high for incubation.

Question is: Do I need to add those little sponges inside at the end of the incubator that the Brinsea comes with? And if so, how do you keep the humidity balanced without having to open the incubator every day to add water to those sponges? Or, do I just pour water into those holes in the trays?

I did just discover the RH% option and changed it to 48% so maybe that will help. 🙏🏻

I’m trying to get good at hatching my own turkey eggs before my shipped eggs come in 🙏🏻
