This spring has been a wild one. The wettest April on record followed by the driest May. My days have been spent rocking baby while watching seedlings quickly become overgrown in their trays, the weeds in the garden even more-so. We are starting to find our rhythm though. Baby is smiling and giggling more than ever and I have been able to get my hands back in the dirt in between wake windows. I will admit most of that time is spent wondering, “Is it too early to drop the swaddle? When was baby fed last? Did we order more diapers? I hope the bearded irises don’t make baby sneeze!” The majority of the summer seedlings are now tucked into their rows, the rest will join them this weekend. Time has flown while also going slower than ever before! The flower stand will remain closed through the end of the month and will open just after the 4th of July when I have helping hands. I absolutely cannot wait to start sharing the beauty of the flower farm with you all again! Blooms to come soon ✿
Cheers,
Madison
