I want to share tips I have found to make things easier and for you also to share your tips!

My neighbor gave me a bunch of beef bones from their last cow that was processed. I am roasting them now to make beef stock. It smells amazing!

Our two last baby goats went to their new home today. They will have a good life with their new family but it is hard saying goodbye.

Several years ago we raised two cows for meat. That was the best hamburger meat I have ever eaten. It was lean and flavorful. I have wondered what is put into the meat we buy at the grocery store....how many additives, how many fillers? Yesterday we bought some meat from a local butcher shop that has their own cows and buys from local farmers. I made hamburgers tonight...it was chuck and there was hardly any grease. It was delicious. What are they putting in our food....why are so many people getting sick...why are new diseases discovered daily. Think about it. I haven't even started on the chicken discussion and how different the chicken we raise and process are from the chicken you buy in the grocery store. Try to buy from a local butcher when you can...it was actually less expensive than the grocery store and could give us better health.

Great information. We have 3 babies that will be leaving us soon.
