How to Remove Corn Kernels at Home
No need to reach for a can of corn kernels - here's how to cut corn fresh from the cob.
Place the corncob on a clean work surface. Use your hands to remove and discard the green outer husk and silky threads.
Trim one end so the corncob stands flat. Starting halfway, cut down the corncob, close to the core, to remove the kernels.
Trim the other end of the corncob so it stands flat. Repeat to remove the kernels from the other half of the corncob.
