What Can I GIve? My GS Food Pantry at Framingham Public Library Main Branch

The weather is getting warmer and our Little Free Pantry is running low on some supplies. Here are some of our most-needed summer supplies. If you wish to donate, you may donate at the *dark green tub* in the McAuliffe Library foyer next to the book return or place your donations directly into the pantry at the Main Library. We only accept non-perishables/shelf stable products.

Desperately looking for Canned Tuna, Canned Soups, Cher Boyardee, Pasta, Peanut Butter and Squeezable Jellies. We are all out of our stock at home, and are low in the pantry itself.

Thanks for all your generosity! We can always use Pasta, Canned Tomato Sauce, Chunky or Pregresso Soups, Chef Boy-Ardee, Canned Tuna, Canned Chicken, Peanut butter, Soy Butter, squeezable grape jelly, canned fruit, individual applesauce or fruit cups (like Delmonte), Kids snacks, Ramen Noodles, Cup of Noodles, Yahoo Non-Caffeinated Chocolate Milk and Individual Motts Apple Juice. Thanks so much for your continued generosity!!!

Donations graciously accepted via McAuliffe Dark Green tub (with our name on it) in the lobby near the book drop off bin, via direct pickup or Amazon Wishlist or by placing items directly inside the pantry (see below). Please do not place outside the pantry in the boxes as that is for another cause---Hope International. Sorry for the confusion.

I know people mean well, but we cannot accept glass items, expired items, baked goods such as muffins, bread, frozen goods or shampoo/soap.If you need ideas on what to donate, please view our Amazon wish list (pinned in a previous message) to get an idea. Thanks as always for your support!

Thank you to everyone's donations to my daughter's food pantry at the Framingham Public Library Main Branch. We are very appreciative of all the donations, but do have a couple simple requests. Please no GLASS ITEMS, and please make sure items are NON-EXPIRED. We cannot offer expired food as part of the food pantry. People experiencing food insecurity are deserving of non-expired food. We ended up tossing many items (almost an entire garbage bag full) today from McAuliffe library, with several items dating back years and one from 2004! It you can't read it, it likely shouldn't be donated. Thanks for your help in checking your labels, and for your support of the Food Pantry. This community has made a huge difference in the lives of others.
