This gorgeous succulent is known for its tiny teardrop shaped leaves and there is a Variegated type as well! String of Tears loves bright light and prefers to dry out between waterings, I water when leafs start to shrivel! And yes, they bloom! Tiny white flowers with a sweet cinnamon like smell!

✨ New plant added to the collection today, its called String of Rubies(Othonna capensis)!

String of Rubies is a gorgeous trailing succulent known for its purple stems and bright daisy like flowers when happy and thriving! These love bright light and are super easy to care for as long as you don’t overwater them. Like most succulents, they prefer their soil to dry out between waterings! You do not water these plants until their petals start to look wrinkly! Then you completely drowned them 🤣💀

I’m already obsessed with the colors on this plant and can’t wait to watch it grow and bloom! 🪴

This is literally the coolest bottom dweller fish I have ever found in the creek!

🌈 Rainbow Darter (Etheostoma caeruleum) 🌈
One of the most colorful native fish in North America! These little stream fish stay around 2–3 inches and love cool, clean, highly oxygenated water with strong flow. They naturally live in rocky creeks and rivers, so they do best in river-style tanks with gravel, rocks, and current.

Rainbow Darters are bottom dwellers that “hop” around the tank and perch on rocks instead of swimming like most fish. Their diet mainly consists of insect larvae, worms, small crustaceans, and frozen/live foods like bloodworms or blackworms.

Males are much more colorful with bright blue and orange bands, especially during breeding season, while females are usually more muted in color.
Peaceful, active, and full of personality — definitely one of the coolest native fish you can keep! 🐟
