A little business update 🤍

My website is currently under maintenance while I make some changes to how I’m doing things going forward.

As of right now, I’m going to be cutting back to Tuesday and Saturday pickups, so Thursday pickups will be going away. For now, I’m also simplifying the menu to just sourdough, bagels, focaccia, and blondies.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and praying lately about what I can realistically handle in this season of life.

I’m a stay at home mom. My husband works full time. I have a very attached 9 month old boy and a very active 5 year old boy who I’m planning to homeschool soon. I think sometimes it’s easy to look at a business like mine and think, “Well, just work while the baby naps.” But that really isn’t how it works for us. Contact naps are pretty much the only naps that work for us right now, and even if he does sleep, I still have a 5 year old who needs me.

I used to mostly work at night once the oldest was asleep and our youngest could sleep on my husband, but with a 9 month old, sleep is unpredictable. And honestly, I don’t want every hour after my kids go to bed to be spent working. I need to rest too.

PSA— I’m NOT quitting bread. 😂 I just need to find a routine that I can actually keep up with, without constantly feeling like I’m trying to squeeze 30 hours into a 24 hour day.

I started Knead for Christ because I wanted to share something I love while also sharing my love for Jesus with other people. That hasn’t changed. But my first ministry is still my family. If the business starts taking away from my ability to be the wife and mom I’m supposed to be, then something needs to change.

So, I’m slowing down a little. Simplifying things. Making the business fit into our life instead of trying to make our life fit around the business.

I’m sooo very grateful for everyone I’ve met who has ordered bread, talked about my bread to others, or just encouraged me since early 2024. This business means so much to me, and I’m grateful to keep doing it, just in a way that makes sense for this season. 🤍

Due to a large order I’m filling this weekend, I’m officially at capacity and won’t be able to accept any additional orders for this week.

Non bread centered post for a minute 🤍👇🏻

It’s Gospel Meeting week at our church! ☺️

Every night this week at 7pm, one of the members of our congregation will be giving a lesson on a different parable from the Bible.

I’d love to see some of my friends, customers, and other new faces there! You can come every night, come to a few, or just come for one. I know it’s last minute. There’s no commitment or pressure.. we’d just love to have you!!!

My husband is giving the lesson Wednesday night, so I’d especially love to see some more familiar faces that night. 🥰

If you’ve ever thought about visiting our church, this would be a great week to come!
