From a Farmstand Crawl to a Bigger Farmstand.
This message stopped us in our tracks: “Thanks to y’all putting this on we’ve picked up more locals and the idea to build a bigger stand! She’s getting close!”
This is exactly why we do what we do.
When Local Farmstand Finds and the American Farmstand Association organize farmstand crawls, we’re not just creating a fun afternoon adventure. We’re helping connect local families with local food, introducing new customers to farmstands they may have never discovered, and supporting small farm businesses as they grow.
This stand participated in the Columbia Farmstand Crawl and is now expanding to serve more customers. That’s real impact. More visitors. More community connections. More opportunities for farm families.
Every map downloaded, every route driven, and every stop made at a farmstand helps strengthen local agriculture one customer at a time.
We’re already planning more farmstand events and crawls because stories like this remind us that when people show up for local farms, amazing things happen.
