So the Ducks haven't laid in over a month so I haven't exactly been checking the coop. I realized that the Miss truffles wasn't out and about with the rest of our ducks so I snuck a peek in the coop and much to my surprise there she sat on top of what ended up being 19 eggs! Not knowing how long they had each been there I decided to give him a little red ring and let her hatch them out so looks like we'll be having ducklings in probably 3 weeks or so at my best guesstimate😉 unplanned but not necessarily unwelcomed...

Just a little over a week away!

THE MAURY COUNTY FARMSTAND CRAWL IS BACK!

After such an incredible turnout for our May Farmstand Crawl, we knew we had to do it again.

Here’s how we picture your Sunday...

Start your afternoon in downtown Columbia. Grab lunch, wander around the square... and then head for the country roads.

Your map will lead you through Maury County to 15 local farmstands, where you’ll meet the makers, bakers, growers and farmers behind them.

Fill the car with fresh bread, baked goods, jams, produce, flowers, meats, eggs and whatever else you discover along the way. Meet the people who made it. Hear their stories. See the little stands they’ve built at the ends of driveways, beside barns and down country roads.

That’s really what a Farmstand Crawl is all about.

It’s not a race to hit every stop. It’s an excuse to slow down, explore somewhere new and spend an afternoon supporting the small local businesses keeping this nostalgic tradition alive.

And after the amazing day we had together in May, we cannot wait to see what October brings. 🍁

If you happened to visit our farm stand on 431 this weekend one of your babes has left their Croc behind 😉 cute as it is I simply won't fit in it! It's on top of the cabinet in the stand if you're looking for it :-)
