Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!

Farm dads are a different breed. They’re the first ones up, the last ones in, and somehow always find time to teach the next generation along the way.

From fixing fences and feeding animals to teaching hard work, responsibility, and grit, so much of what we’re building here at Benz Family Farm wouldn’t be possible without a great dad leading the way. ❤️

Today we’re celebrating all the fathers, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who show up day after day—both on the farm and at home.

Well… things escalated quickly around here 🤎🐂

We added 3 more longhorns to the farm! A bull and 2 heifers from C&C Cattle Co. who helped us hand select our growing herd.

It’s been really cool watching them out in the new pasture with our 2 longhorn steers already moving together like one herd. When one moves, they all move 😂

We can’t wait to watch these guys grow and see what their horns turn into over the next few years!

Life around the farm has been BUSY lately… and somehow it all happened at once 🤣🐄

In the past couple months:
• We built a brand new barn
• Moved the longhorns + donkeys into their new home
• Added a mule to the crew
• Wilma had sweet baby Willow 🤍
• Somehow ended up with 50 chicks 😅
• And now we have baby turkeys too 🦃

(Which means YES… Thanksgiving turkeys may be available later this year 👀)

Some days it feels a little chaotic, a little exhausting, and a little unbelievable… but watching this tiny girl grow reminds us why we love this life so much.

We’re incredibly grateful for all of you following along with our crazy farm journey 🤍
