This season of life for me is BUSY!! I work 2 jobs, my husband works, my kids are in school, both are involved in multiple rec sport activities, my husband and I both coach, etc etc 🤯 it’s a lot!! 🥱
As much as I would love to make and prepare a home cooked meal each and every night, it’s just not possible.
During this extra busy season of school/fall sports I make sure to MEAL PREP on Sunday’s. On Friday, I pull out 3-4 of my frozen Dream Dinners meal kits to start defrosting in my DD Thaw Bin in my fridge. That way on Sunday, they are defrosted and ready for me to cook - taking up just 1 hour of my day today to make 👩🍳 👏
Cooking and eating hot on the same night is of course the ideal way to go!! But as mentioned 😆 I’m too busy during the school/work week!! 😜 With this method, everything is cooked ok Sunday and I can simply reheat and serve a quick dinner to my family during the weeknights ahead! Whether that be at 4:30pm before practice or at 8:30pm when we get home from practice — my family is still getting a healthy meal, made with love, that I prepared!! 💚
