UPDATE!
Full transparency: We visited the shared kitchen, and it was fantastic. We loved the layout, the atmosphere, and the idea of having a dedicated space where I could spend early mornings making syrups, then bring them to markets and share them with all of you.
But here’s the honest truth:
Right now, it just isn’t feasible.
Between the costs of producing the syrups and the additional overhead of renting a commercial kitchen, the numbers simply don’t make sense at this stage of the business.
And that’s okay.
So now I’m asking for your help:
What’s the best way for me to get these syrups into your hands?
Is there a smaller kitchen for rent?
Would you come to a pop-up? A farmers market? A local pickup event? Is there a coffee shop, salon, boutique, or community space where you’d love to see Mrs. Kelly’s Simple Syrups?
I truly believe these syrups are meant to be shared—whether you’re making coffee, cocktails, mocktails, lemonades, sodas, or even baking with them.
I’m not giving up. I’m just finding a smarter path forward.
I’d love to hear your ideas. ❤️
