Just got unloaded and cleaned up from Edinburg VA. It was great to see and catch up with the bbq family. Thank you Stoney Creek BBQ Cookoff for putting on an amazing event and can’t wait to come back next year. As for the contest, we had an awesome cook but unfortunately, we didnt get the scores we wanted.

I want to give a big shoutout to Brock's BBQ Competition Team for all the help they gave me this weekend with setting up and helping out. I want to send a big shoutout to Denny Ray Flint for the new lessons I got to learn when prepping for a competition weekend, thank you so much for that. I want to thank all my sponsors Jdqbbq Country Boys BBQ Restaurant and A-Z Meats for sticking with me and continuing to believe in this team.

This one did hurt a little bit, even though I felt great about the cook, but these things do happen and the best thing to do is to get back up, dust yourself off, and keep pushing forward. It is officially competition week!!!! We are beyond excited to get to Stoney Creek BBQ Cookoff in Edinburg VA. Equipment is gathered, Ribs and Chicken will be cleaned and trimmed on Wednesday, truck will be loaded Thursday, and head out before the sun rises on Friday. I want to thank all my sponsors Jdqbbq Country Boys BBQ Restaurant and A-Z Meats for believing in this team and helping us get here. Can’t wait to see everyone out there and safe travels to everyone traveling.

Sausage gravy made from scratch using Jdqbbq sweet garlic. 5 simple ingredients for this awesome dish. 1 lbs. of your favorite ground sausage, 2 1/2 cups of whole milk, 1/4 cup of all purpose flower, fresh ground pepper to taste, and JDQ Sweet Garlic to taste. Cook the sausage to temperature and remove from the pan. Leave the drippings and add your flower. Once added, throw your sausage back in and add the milk. Cook on high until boiling and starting to thicken. Lower the temperature on the stove. Add your pepper and JDQ Sweet Garlic while it simmers. Let it rest for 10 minutes and enjoy!!!
