Good morning Everyone.
I know its been a while since we posted. As many of you are aware, the era of Wildair is coming to an end this week. It’s still sad for all of us. On the exciting side, I have the fabulous news that I will be able to continue the great quality of care at a wonderful facility just a few miles up the road at Longwood “Stable”? (Still working on name). As many know, Longwood has been in the Earlysville area for many years. We are working on rehabilitating the facility to create a great atmosphere of safety, convenience, fun and no drama. We will be providing stall and field board at competitive prices. To everyone that has been checking out Wildair and are looking for a place to call home, keep an eye out for Longwoods FB page. Feel free to contact me thru Wildair if you would like info. Im hoping to archive Wildair to keep all the memories.
Thank you all for your interest, support, memories and just being wonderful people.
See you up the road soon!!
Best to all. Jeff

Good morning and happy Thanksgiving everyone.
To all of our boarders, obviously since we can’t feed all of the horses and ponies turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravy, although I’m sure matrix will eat it, we have a nice warm apple pomace mash with all the fixings. It’s always a hit.
Also for all the owners, Potter’s Craft Cider has been gracious enough to leave some cider for you. Please pick up at your convenience.Hope y’all enjoy the day and see you when you’re out.

Well...first trailer trip off the farm since the “Great hunter pace fiasco of 2017.” 😊😂😁Both boys loaded flawlessly and trailered well for the short distance. Thank you to Farmington Hunt Club for setting up this hunter pace and tolerating the heat with us. If anyone tells you its cooler in the am after passing night showers, well, cooler maybe, but the HUMIDITY!!🤯
Michelle, Paula and I enjoyed the route with great scenery, field and woods. Matrix says I was trying to kill him w/the hills, but think enough cookies and a nap will bring him around. Hope everyone had fun!!

And who knew that after a short time as a new student and a shorter time looking that Meili would find a very nice new hat that came with a free horse. 😁. Thank you to Rebecca Barber at Jubilee Equestrian for providing a wonderful and affectionate guy for Meili. It was so convenient to go to our next door neighbor for a great horse. These two will have loads of fun for years to come. Oh and thats two new boarders in one day. Welcome to the herd.

Well, tomorrow is that time of year. Terrible for horses and owners alike. Its time for muzzles and taxes. 😂😞😉

Just a tip for folks dealing with soaking hooves for things like WLD or Thrush - This is what I did with Prophecy to cure ours :) I also used Artimud to help keep rocks out of any open areas
Caught Titan taking a snooze while I was out picking up Prophecy this afternoon
Me again! If anyone is off schedule for the equine dentist and needs to see him, I have Ken coming out 12/28 for Prophecy (not due back till end of Feb otherwise). Let Ken and/or me know if you need to add on to this trip.
Anyone free to take some video of Prophecy & I tomorrow/Wednesday eve or sometime this weekend? I need to do some clear vids for a fit eval on a saddle...
Checking to see if anyone else needs fall shots with BRE or a dental checkup/float with Ken Pankow. Prophecy is due for both soon and always nice to split call fees :)
anyone come across a red Parelli rope halter? missing mine
