We had a great day showing at the Fresno Fair! One of the highlights was bringing out 3 year old 4Petesake Danish Hokey Pokey for her show debut and seeing her win her first milking leg. Hopefully we’ll get to show her a little more next year because she looked great.

Dust was another doe we took to the show this past weekend. While she wasn’t the big winner of the day I’m really happy to see how nicely she’s matured since last year. She’s a 3 year old 1st freshener as she was milked through this year (fresh since Feb 2025), but has been milking a steady 9-10 lbs through the summer. I think she will be a fun one to see next year with another freshening!

4Petesake Stonehenge Twist
3 year old 2nd freshener

Sire: Tonka-Tails Rae of Stonehenge
Dam: 4Petesake Danish Twirl

I had some fun doing the AI breeding that resulted in this doe, utilizing a Tonka-Tails buck born in 2003. That buck, Rae of Stonehenge, is a son of 3rd generation National Champion Kendall Rae, and Loughlin’s Playing With Fire who sired a couple National Show winners himself. Big pedigree from the early 2000s.

While she should be American Oberhasli, she had other plans and decided to come out sporting a white sock. Experimental it is!
