Happy Sunday!

I wanted to give an update about our schedule this September because it's gonna be a bit out of the ordinary.

Some of you might remember that my son David (pictured below about 5 years ago "helping" me make fudge) is headed off to his first year of college and that not too long ago we took him to check out his new school and now the time has come to move him there.
With that said-
We will be closed September 11th-September 21rst.

We will be open these dates September 7-10th
We also are open these dates September 22-24
and September 29-30
Updates will come leading into October.

Not only are we sending our son off to college, but we are finishing up some requirements for our occupancy permit. We can barely wait to invite you in for a seat!

We apologize for any inconvenience; however, we thank you for giving us space to do what we need to.

Although our door won't be open, we will be close by most days and encourage you to email if there is something you absolutely need.

We're coming to the end of the week, your getting tired, and your thinking "what's for dinner?"

Welp, we made Shepard pie, c***r braised pork over cheddar mashed potatoes, and a grilled balsamic portobello mushroom, over mashed potatoes, topped with crimini mushroom gravy (no dairy, no meat).

Easy dinner! Just reheat and eat!

Goodbyes are such a funny part of summer.

Every year, people come into our little world for a season. They work beside us, make us laugh, challenge us, teach us things, become part of our routines and then, suddenly, it’s time for them to move on.

Some head back to college. Some head home. Some are off chasing music, careers, adventures, or simply figuring out what comes next.

And not every chapter is perfect. Some people stay longer than others. Some relationships are easy, some challenge us, and some end differently than we expected.

But I believe that people come into our lives for a reason.

Every person who has worked beside me has left something behind. Maybe they taught me something. Maybe I taught them something. Maybe we helped each other grow without even realizing it at the time.

If we’re willing to look for it, there’s something good to take from every chapter, even the complicated ones.

So as another summer winds down, I’m feeling grateful.

Grateful for the people who showed up.
Grateful for what we accomplished together.
Grateful for the laughter, the lessons, the growth and even the challenges.

To everyone heading off to their next chapter: thank you for being part of mine.

Go do good things. Keep growing. And know that you left a little piece of yourself here.
