This one is really hard to let go, but my goal is to get down to 2-3 adult bucks. He's on hold until I use him on a few does this breeding season, but will be ready to go after that.

This is going to STING. I was looking at our goats and specifically age groups. We are heavy with 2024, 2025 and 2026 numbers but 2024 in particular. I've decided to pull March off the market, and list a couple from our 2024 line up. These are farm favorites, we've taken them to multiple Nationals, and they have done well at them.

Celtic Pride Amanita -
2024 ADGA National Show - 8th place intermediate kid; 10th place best 3 juniors; 7th place junior get of sire
2025 ADGA National Show - 2nd place senior yearling; 2nd place best 3 juniors
So why her? Because she sticked at exactly 22.5 inches at LA. She is a big doe all the way around, and while 22.5" is not over height, it will not take much of a deviation to get her booted from the show ring for being over. Couple that with the fact our bucks are not small, she needs to be bred to a buck that won’t add size. She is a frikkin lovely doe. FF udder is attached well, kids got her crooked and it is still slightly so, but otherwise all the parts and pieces have promise for a first freshener.

Celtic Pride 12 Flying Foxes -
2024 ADGA National Show - 4th place junior kid; 10th place best 3 juniors
2025 ADGA National Show - 21st place senior yearling (made cut); 7th place junior get of sire
FF udder shape was absolutely gorgeous, not a ton of capacity. As to why her, we have three full siblings from Levin/Ollie. I've gone back and forth a thousand times between the three. Peep is my favorite, she's not leaving here. There are trade offs between Fox and Easter but ultimately we have 6 nice 2 year olds and 5 nice yearlings, so went with listing Fox.

Neither of these does will be easy for me to see leave. https://celticpridefarm.com/sales

We LAed several 2025 does that had just turned 1 about a month prior. So very immature, and top that off with freshening around 5 days from LA. I was not expecting high scores, but rather a chat about their future and I'm so excited to watch them bloom and mature into their adult selves.

Celtic Pride 20 Easter Showers (DOB 4/20/25, Freshened 5/14/26, LA 5/20/26) - AGAG79
Celtic Pride 20 Yellow Peeps (Easters littermate) - GGGA80 This doe has my heart. She's Letters mini-me. I need to get a good picture, but she's the only one raising her kids so she wasn't part of the photo op today.
Celtic Pride Winifred's Book - AAGG77 - this is a VERY immature little doe with one heck of a phenomenal little udder.
Celtic Pride Dynamite - pictured NOT full (for reference she scored a 3 for rear udder side view on LA day) - GGGA79
American Jewel Lily Bay (DOB 4/13/25, Freshened 5/15) - AAAA75, appraiser even commented she still had a lot of baby features to her, but so much promise.

I'm actually exceptionally happy with these scores for such immature does, all of them are keepers. When I said I'm keeping our lowest scoring does, there you have it :)

This doe kid is the sweetest baby of the year. Fully dam raised. LOVES people. I call her baby shark bc when you go in their pen she orbits you. Her registered name still up in the air. For now she’s baby shark. Or shark tooth, which if you saw her front head shot you’d know why 😂

This morning I went to feed her pen and heard a baby screaming outside. Everyone in, no baby shark. Crap. I booked around to the outside gate and could hear and see her wedged between two tires. She must have been playing on them and slipped. Flipped upside down and wedged perfectly between them 😢 I have no idea how long she was stuck like that, but we had bad storms all night and she was dry other than residual from the ground and tires, so praying not long. She got snuggled an extra long time before I finally put her down and she’s seemed to walk off fine. I’m really hoping it had just happened and I got her out without too much stress.

Sale Pending

Letting another from our keeper pen go. This buck is the full brother to Celtic Pride XOXOXO, who was 4th in her class at ADGA nationals. We will repeat this cross again, and are way too buck heavy.
He’s registered as Celtic Pride I’m a Fun Gi
Sire: Celtic Pride Lions Mane
Dam: Celtic Pride Black Eyed Pea

Ollie isn't the only handsome buck here. This is Cade's Lil Farm PR Aladdin at liberty hanging in the field. No fancy posing, just looking handsome standing around and giving himself back scratches. He will get used heavily for 2027 kids here, especially since he only gave me one doe this year. He looks so good for a 7 year old buck.
