60$ a bale
I have some beautiful Coastal Bermuda round bales for sale. They are 4X5 bales with all commercial fertilizer. There is absolutely no litter put on any of my hay. This hay is pretty and green with a moisture content of 12-14%. All of my horse hay is stored under a big shelter. As you can see in the pictures, it’s clean and has no weeds or trash in them. It’s that time of year again!!! Here in this video, we are applying liquid nitrogen and a post-emergent herbicide. Nitrogen helps promote the growth of coastal bermuda, while the herbicide kills your annual broadleaf weeds!

Happy Wednesday Everybody!! Today, we have been super busy loading trucks. This sudan grass/ millet mix is currently being sent to Henderson, NC. This particular customer is using our product for straw. Believe it or not, it works great! If you need any hay just give us a call!

Each year after we plant our new hay, we always run a cultipacker over the fields. This specific tool will bust up dirt clods, help level the field out, pack down rocks, and it helps the ground maintain moisture. Most people don’t do this, but we find it very effective!

It’s that time of year again!! This week, we’ve been busy getting our hay land ready to plant. Hopefully, if the weather holds out, we can start planting this thursday. Stay tuned for more info!

We spent this past weekend delivering our sorghum/sudan grass hay to a customer in Climax, NC. This mixture of grass is perfect for your cows, especially if you’re striving for a high fiber diet. We have about 200 bales left, so you better come while you can!
