Kirkland Organic Herb & Vegetable Farm.

Kirkland Organic Herb & Vegetable Farm. Urban Home Farm Movement. At Kirkland Organic Herb & Vegetable Farm, we celebrate and respect the beauty, balance and diversity of the natural world. James L.

We are in this business for love of the healing plants, to ensure their availability to all regardless of status or credentials, to encourage your interest in them and to assist you in taking care of your own and your families' health and well-being. We work toward protecting and preserving the Earth, of which we are a part, and believe that this energy flows through all that we do. As a company,

we have worked for the advancement and sustainability of organic herbs and vegetables since 2011 when we lunched ITG. We continue to pursue this passionately for the preservation of our medicinal plants and for the health of ourselves, our communities and our planet. Because of our unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship, we have enthusiastically embrace the zero waste paradigm. All perceived waste is scrutinized and, either recycled, re-used, composted, reclaimed or bought back into the production cycle. This includes label backs, plastic bags, scrape metal, herbal and plant refuse, buckets, oil and much more! We have integrated the ideology of zero waste to reduce, reuse, and recycle in every area of our business. Appreciative and heartfelt thanks to all of you. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. Thank you for your support, your ideas and your friendly voices. Kirkland Jr.

New Gardener Tip: Thinning your plants is essential for healthy plant development. Check the seed packets to determine the proper spacing. Choose the strongest, healthiest plant to keep. Use a scissors to snip off the seedlings at the base, rather than pulling them out, which can disturb nearby seedlings. Many thinnings are edible! Add thinnings of radishes, beets, spinach, carrots and lettuce to your salad bowl.
