Alright didn’t want to make this post but my emotions got me yesterday (I’ll be responding to the other post here shortly)

Yesterday I was contacted about my Mottled Brahma x Naked Neck Project. I was like yay someone noticed and probably wanted to know more. Boy was I wrong 🫪🤣🤣 (it’s funny now that I slept on it)

1st why do people go out there way to ruin peoples day/night. If you don’t like something scroll on….

2nd I didn’t recognize the number and maybe I shouldn’t have my number posted (that’s on me) but because I am not that type of person I did block it and reported AHAHA and tbh I think it was those text free numbers because I did try to look it up 🤣 (probably a hater stalking my page 😉)

3rd this is a project and I had an extra mottled Brahma so I’m like why not start a naked neck project lol well the ones pictured are 1st generation and looking great!!! I love the mottled look with the feathered legs but naked neck!

4th thank you to those who were so kind and I get it naked necks are NOT for everyone. They are ugly but cute in their own way!

Honestly good thing it was my cats and not a predator!

No birds were injured and I did move them because honestly I am so drained today 😩

But maybe don’t buy cages from Temu or if you are buy new tarps ahaha

She had started limping and was not recovering after moving her alone and trying to help her a leg 😞

This is the hardest part of having birds or really any animals. Is the actual hard cull 🥺

It breaks my heart because I adore and try my best to take care of everyone but sometimes it’s not enough.

I will miss you my precious mottled Brahma hen 💓

Sorry no pullets available at the time. I still have too many roosters so they need to leave as a trio and pairs!

I need to examine them throughly but I know they all have 5 toes. Some are more chocolate then others as the sun probably diluated them 😭

I wish I could keep them but I have my established chocolate pen already set so I don’t need these ☺️

First two pictures are the pullets and the other 2 are the roosters!

My two buff pictured are BOYS! Of course 😭

BUT my two blue cream are PULLETS! YAYYYY I’m so happy ☺️

Anyways out of 16 samples! Drum roll please….

12 Pullets 4 Boys!!! FINALLY SOME GOOD NEWS 🥳

Also my 4 white Brahmas are ALL c/c Homozygous Recessive White!!! That means I should expect ALL white chicks!!

I am OVER THE MOON!

I need to celebrate 🥳

And huge I mean HUGE thank you to Knights DNA Testing for being so quick and fast! Very much appreciated 💕
