Okay now I’m ready for the next storm!

Might not be the biggest generator but as long as it powers my incubators and brooders I’ll be fine.

Happy Friday! And let’s get the weekend started 🤪

I officially went back to school so that’s means I still need to downsize more 😭

Work gave us more hours 🙃 , school is asking me to double up and even triple up on classes if I want to graduate next year and not 2028. So I think I will do that. Sacrifice my love for my birds for the bigger future goals 😩

Tommorow 10/14 I will go through all my pens and see what I have available!

I believe it will only be silkies as I am all sold out on my waterfowl, peafowl, and Brahmas!

Stay tuned!!! Will be local pick up only sorry 😩 again work gave us more hours and school is going to triple drain me LOL

Gainesville, Georgia 🤭

Stay tuned!!!

Both mommas have their work cut out for them LOL

I didn’t realize they had so many 😭 I just kept adding and adding chicks as they hatched from the incubators

They both have 22 🫣 both are doing amazing and the rooster is so careful with them 🥹

They just roam the whole pen and at night they all huddle each one 😇

I only kept 4 pullets (really because that’s all i got this year LOL) rooster heavy remember 🫠

Anyways they are growing so fast 🥹

I have 2 roosters and 6 hens/pullets for breeding 2027 🥳

My mottled are the only ones who I will keep till the very last if I do decide to downsize more.

Now we wait for Spring 2027 ✨

And just like that I am almost officially D O N E with hatching eggs 😜

I don’t think I would have imagined myself actually doing it but here we are. I just have one incubator left to hatch in 2 weeks but all the others are officially off.

Next year I probably won’t start hatching again until March/April as I need to finish college and get that bachelors degree so I need to lock in! (Meaning get my stuff together 🤣)

Not going to lie it’s sad and anxious seeing them empty and not incubating eggs but I need to focus on what I have alive and focus on college. I have big plans and sometimes we have to sacrifice small things to achieve the bigger goals.

It’s been a journey but it’s not over!! Just a small pause 😇 and before you know it they will be filled all over again 🤪

I just want to thank everyone for the kind words and efforts to help!

I am officially sold out of what I had available in terms of waterfowl and peafowl. 🦚

Thank you so much as this lowers my numbers tremendously!

As of now I only have Rowen which he is in the air as I’m not sure if I want to keep him or look for a female.

I also only kept my white pair of peafowl 🦚

I’m going to look into my silkies next but I doubt I have anything available as I already thinned what I needed to let go off last month.

Again thank you so much 🙂

Currently crying LOL

My emotional self but I have decided I am letting go off ALL waterfowl and some peafowl 😭💔

This absolutely breaks my heart because of all the time and investments I’ve poured into them but I can’t seem to catch a break at ALL.

It’s not easy doing this alone. I go back to school next week and I need to finish all my credits before February if I want to graduate March 2027 instead of May 2028… so I had to make the hard decision and major downsize.

Absolutely heartbreaking but I simply can’t keep up with everything going on. I am only one person with two hands and two feet. I wish I could clone myself lol

But anyways I have UFD in Gainesville, Georgia (local pick only) so sorry but I simply don’t have time to meet 😭😭😭 this weather changed my meet up spots and with school starting next week I don’t have time to meet. So local pick up only.. FCFS 😭

- Male Swan: Rowen age 6 (this one crushed my heart but I have to)

With this crazy weather please be patient with pictures but I’ll post older pictures! If I have them lol

List is on the last picture! (Will be updated as they leave)
