Dear customers,
I am going to let you in on my life right now.
Today, I left my home at 7AM. It is 8:40PM and I have yet to make it home. Every day this week, I’ve been home long enough to MAYBE eat dinner, change my clothes, and go to bed. My amazing partner has manned the farm all week, none of which is his responsibility.
On the flip side of that, we have been living without air conditioning in our living room/kitchen for over a month. I have no air conditioning in my truck. I need a new tire on my truck. & the list goes on, and on.
I am telling you this, not to ask for your pity, I don’t want it. I’m telling you this because I have received some angry messages this week, telling me how I must not need to get rid of chicks that bad if I won’t even reply.
I need to get rid of chicks so bad, it’s not even funny. Not because there’s anything wrong with them. Not because I hate them. Because I am paying so much money to keep these animals alive, to keep myself alive, and in the same breath, being so busy that I literally cannot reply to messages, comments, or meet anyone for chicks, unless they can be exactly where I will be on any given day.
I need to get rid of chicks and chickens so bad. Desperately, at this point. But what do I do when I get home after 9PM, and haven’t even had a moment to eat food? To say hi to my partner? To even take care of the animals I need to get rid of? Thank GOD for my partner, or I don’t know what I would do right now.
I am BEGGING for your patience. I am on my virtual knees, begging you to be polite and respectful of my time. I am BEGGING you to understand that two things can be true. I need to get rid of chicks and chickens so bad that my bank account is bleeding, but I have ZERO time to even do so?
I will be free Saturday and Sunday. If you need or want chicks, I will reply to you Saturday morning. I hope that you’ve had enough patience to not write me all the way off, and are willing to meet me this weekend. The chicks are here. They’re waiting. They’re waiting for ME. I appreciate each and every one of you that has been interested, and if this has turned you off of buying chicks from me, I completely understand. All I ask is that you please be respectful. I have shared my personal life with you, in hopes that I don’t have to read one more angry message. Please.
