It sounds like I've got eggs running out of my ears at the house - would anyone like straight run (not sexed, you'd end up with roosters and hens), barnyard mix chicks? I could start incubation when I get home, so they would be about 3 weeks out. $5/chick. You know I've got ALLLLL the egg colors, so my guess is you'd end up with a pretty colorful egg basket!

I have had a lot of repeated inquiries about a few things, so I thought I would address them here quickly!

Am I going to be hatching chicks this year?
Yes, I will be, but it will be late because we are gone for Spring Break. I will hatch barnyard mix if there is interest, and I will also plan on hatching Bielefelders.

Do you have eggs for sale?
Yes, when I have them available. I try to keep a running list of buyers and if you are on the list you will be contacted when your eggs are ready. I do respectfully ask that consideration is given; this many chickens are a lot of work, and my first goal of having them is to have fresh eggs for our family. They are gaining in production daily, but are really just now starting to produce enough to sell again. With enough badgering I will feel guilty and I will sell eggs intended for my family. Every single time, I regret it. Please trust that I will fill your order as quickly as I can.

Do you have any chickens for sale that are just starting to lay?
Well, I have chickens that are on their first laying cycle. But they are not for sale. Those are the ones I retained to stock my own flock so I can continue providing farm fresh eggs for my family and for customers. In this market, a young and fresh hen would probably cost more than most would want to pay.

Do you have any chickens for sale?
I will have chickens for sale that are between 2.5 and 3 years old. They still lay pretty well at that age, but are past the peak I need for selling eggs. They will be in limited quantity, so if you are interested please let me know so I can put you on a list.

Do you still have honey?
YES!!! We do still have honey and would happily bottle some up for you! Just get ahold of us!

Big things are coming to our world!
Last year we decided to sell our excess vegetable starts and really enjoyed the process of getting to know folks better, getting to talk shop around gardening, and getting to share a bit of what we are passionate about.
This year, we are going to have more room for starting plants, as we are investing in a greenhouse! We will be getting a nursery license so we can offer more to our community in the form of vegetable starts. This is where YOU come in!
We have our favorites that we grow for our own enjoyment, but we would like to know what our community wants too! What varieties do you love to grow? Would you be interested in purchasing basil starts if we offered those? That is the kind of feedback we are looking for. The more we can offer locally, the better!

13 week old purebred female kangal from working lines on both sides. Ready for job placement! Registered and working parents on site, will come with UKC registration. Confident, respectful, and watchful. Correct bite. Has been with female goats and kids, as well as chickens, since birth. Had also been with buck goats. Good with familiar household dogs, good with cats, great with kids. Located in Garden Valley, ID. Will work with you to find transport if needed.

Local-ish friends (in and around Boise too!), I have just fired up my incubator and I wanted to reach out and see if any of you are looking to restock your flock this year. I will be doing straight run barnyard mix for $4/each. You will get a mix of male and female in your order, and the hens will lay eggs that are white, tan, brown, dark brown, red-brown, green, blue, and every color in between. I will be hatching according to orders, so please let me know how many you want and when you would like them. I will try to accommodate as much as possible!
