🚨 LINDSAY CLANCY TRIAL — THE WAIT ISN’T OVER…
And now we wait. Again. 😳
The jury has spent four full days deliberating and still has not reached a unanimous verdict. On Tuesday, they told the judge they were essentially at a standstill — yet they were sent back to continue working through this incredibly complicated case. Today, they are entering their fifth day of deliberations.
And honestly… what is happening inside that jury room right now?
They have heard weeks of testimony, more than 80 witnesses, hundreds of exhibits, heartbreaking evidence, conflicting medical opinions, and arguments from both sides that couldn't be more different.
The defense says Lindsay was experiencing postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible for what she did.
The prosecution says she knew what she was doing and should be held responsible for the deaths of her three children.
And THAT is the question sitting in the hands of 12 jurors.
⚖️ Was this a mother suffering from a devastating mental illness who lost touch with reality?
OR
⚖️ Was she mentally capable of understanding her actions and responsible for the choices she made?
The jury's inability to agree doesn't necessarily tell us which way they're leaning — but it certainly shows just how difficult this decision is.
And if they ultimately cannot reach a unanimous verdict, the judge could declare a mistrial, leaving prosecutors to decide what comes next, including the possibility of another trial.
Meanwhile, three little children remain at the center of everything.
💔 Cora. Dawson. Callan.
Whatever your opinion is on Lindsay Clancy, this case has forced people to confront some incredibly uncomfortable questions about mental illness, postpartum psychosis, the medical system, criminal responsibility, motherhood, and where the line between illness and accountability should be drawn.
So tonight I want to know…
👇 WHERE DO YOU THINK THIS JURY IS HEADED?
Do you think they're struggling because they genuinely cannot agree on criminal responsibility?
Do you think a verdict is coming soon?
Or do you think we're heading toward a hung jury and potentially another trial?
Let's hear your thoughts — but keep it respectful. This case has enough heartbreak without attacking each other. 🖤⚖️
