I am so excited to watch these pairs all show season!
This trio of Femrite sisters put in the work and effort non-stop, and that kind of determination will always make me so proud and grateful they choose to lease heifers from us.

Good luck this show season girls; Krispie, Audi and Quote are in excellent hands 💜

It feels like spring may have hit the brakes like it’s just seen a state trouper, but show season prep has just begun!

We have added another set of youth for the other end of the halter, Katie and Lexi. The girls set their sights on a red and white Holstein fall calf, named Tricky Vicky and a roan summer yearling shortie, named Cheyenne.

These two are just getting started with Katie and Lexi and we are looking forward to hearing about all the fun these pairs will have.

This weekend at the Wisconsin Milking Shorthorn Breeders sale, we will have two of our own going up for grabs.

Lot 20 and 21 are heifers from the long-standing and highly productive maternal lines in our barn.

Her dam’s last test was over 5%BF, with 1st and 2nd lactations finishing over 22,000 lb of milk! Granddam made 120,186 lb milk and 4,082 lb of fat over her 5 lactations. This family line knows their job!!

Throwing it back old school on this one! Her sire is Mericrest Now You See and you don’t see him used too much anymore! Eclipse has that old-style breeding with that modern look and flashy color pattern. She’s out of a dam that made 22,000+lb in three back-to-back lactations.

Sending off 2025 with one last newborn calf snuggle!
She made her arrival right as the barn lights flipped on this morning, and it’s only fitting we tuck her in before we turn them off tonight.

2025 was a year of many things and we are grateful and thankful for all of them. Moments we learned from, moments that caused us to slow down and pause, moments that caused us grow, moments of welcoming in the new life of the herd we care for, and moments of pure family farming fun - we experienced it all!

Happy New Year friends! Here’s to more of it all in 2026, and most importantly, doing it all together.
