It was a damn delicious weekend. Between eating in and out, I think in won.

~Brown Butter Biscoff Rice Krispie Treats. I think I’ll keep a pan of these around alllllll the time now.
~Saturday lunch at was awesome. From the cocktails and the chorizo queso to the Chicken Caesar Smash and French Dip tacos, we will absolutely be back!
~Desert at was sooooo much fun! Talk about endless options! We were having such a great time chatting with the owner that I forgot to take a pic of our dipped cones, so you’ll have to go for yourself! Patrick got the OREP dip, I got the Banana Pudding one, and they were both wonderful! My cone tasted like a banana Moon Pie 🥰
They also have stuffed cookies. The Roku remote is for size reference. This is the Key Lime cookie. Divine!
~Saturday night dinner: smoked, thick cut, bone in pork chops from as per usual, roasted broccoli, and Parmesan and thyme crusted fingerlings.
~Sunday night dinner: smoked chicken quarters (also from ) rubbed with ginger and garlic then brushed with a teriyaki sauce, buttery, garlicky sweet peas, and pan fried potatoes with shallots.

Hope your weekend was as wonderful and delicious as mine was!

Saturday lunch was at in downtown Smithfield. That BLTA was banging! The potato salad was yummy and the banana pudding cake (or whatever it was called) was yummy too!

Sunday breakfast was probably one of the best things I’ve ever eaten for breakfast. I made a 3 cheese scramble with eggs, sausage, sun dried tomatoes, ricotta, cheddar, and feta. Ricotta in scrambled eggs is AMAZING. Gah 🤤

Sunday dinner was loaded steak potatoes. They were awesome!

Was missing alllll the seafood from being in Key West, so the first dinner I cooked was blackened shrimp alfredo. It was delicious! I used Jolly Roger Jalapeño Garlic Black Rub on the shrimp, and we ‘bout fought over them 🤣

Next up was an impromptu date night at since we knew the weather was going to be crappy Saturday, and their new Delmonico steaks are amazing!

With crazy, cold weather on the docket for the weekend, I wanted a couple of comfort foods meals for the weekend, so chicken/broccoli/cheese casserole and potato soup hit those nails on the head perfectly. Typing this, I can hardly wait for dinner…

Lastly, sautéed some SPAM for breakfast omelettes on this burrrrrrrr Sunday morning. I would add this omelette to any breakfast menu. Spring onions IN the egg mixture, pepper jack cheese, sriracha, more spring onions, freshly cracked pepper, and crumbled feta cheese - it was fantastic!

The only thing better than the company we kept and the memories we made was the food and drink! Highly recommend alllll...

I have a new fave in Garner, y’all! Checked out last night. It was amazing! 10/10! You can’t tell much from this bowl, but it was chock full of the most delicious ingredients! The base was garbanzo beans and couscous, the harissa hummus and zesty feta humus I could have eaten alone, the lamb gyro meat was perfect, next I added too many toppings to list, and lastly when it came to the dressing, I picked tzatziki and said “just squeeze the whole thing on there” and he dang near did! It was sooooo good 🤣

Will absolutely be back very soon!
