Part 3: Our watched pot finally boiled! They’ll be joining our flock soon. The little white one looks an awful lot like the egret but obviously he is NOT the father. 😂

Part 2: The egret still couldn’t fly but eventually ventured out and became a part of our flock of sheep and adopted a mom with twins as his surrogate family. They have been funny to watch these past few days walking around eating together like triplets. He’s always been free to come and go as he pleases but has just elected to stay with them for now.

Part 1: Unexpected Guest- We’ve been watching this very pregnant ewe for weeks waiting on her to lamb. Thinking she had, we turned on the light to find something else entirely. An egret with a broken wing unexpectedly took it upon himself to become her roommate for a few days. They tolerated each other well and honestly I think she enjoyed the company.

Where have you been Rocking 4D Poultry!?! Our construction project is complete in record time (thank you to my husband, Glenn💕) and we have been so blessed with new and repeat customers calling to come by and select their birds this spring that we’ve not had a chance to post. We want to thank all of you for the wonderful referrals!! We know you’ve been waiting for a new list to drop so be on the lookout because we are about to post and the selection is off the charts!!
