This is not a post that I have been wanting to make.. but I need to, because she was adored by so many.
May 26th we lost Ash to complications after foaling. 💔
She truly was the BEST mare and we are heartbroken that she is gone.
She was so gentle and easy to be around.
She was one of those that gave you butterflies when you looked at her, it was like she was pulled right out of a fairytale book.
She was an amazing mom. She loved her foals, she was proud of her foals.
I may have only owned her for a short time. And have only been there for 3 of her 6 foals that she has had, but it feels so weird without her here. It still doesn’t feel real and it’s just not the same without her.
Her new filly has been doing great so far and is on a wonderful nurse mare that I am very thankful for.
It hurts that she is gone so young…
But
She leaves a legacy behind!
I am proud to have owned such an amazing horse!
I Just wish I could have gotten to a little bit longer 💔
