Sweet, sweet honey! 🍯 Last night was a big milestone for us- we extracted our very first honey!🐝✨ We are so excited to begin this new adventure and share the sweet rewards of our hard-working bees. There’s something extra special about honey that came straight from our hives!💛. We’ll be offering our sweet product for sale soon, so stay tuned! I can’t wait to share a little taste of our first harvest with you!🍯🐝

As you can see, my August harvests vary-from collecting herb seeds and picking onions to simply watching the flowers bloom. 🧅🌻 No matter how big or small, everything that comes from the ground is a blessing. I’m grateful for all that grows on our farm after some hard work 💪 and care.

We are doing a trial this year. We put nets on the blackberries and red raspberries to see if we can get a better harvest. I have known the birds, deer and other animals were eating some berries, now we will see just how much! Today I picked some, here are a few pictures of the berries. I am hopeful that we will continue to pick a lot more!

Today I picked a few zinnias just to admire all the beautiful colors- and, of course, to save some seeds for next year!🌸 If you love flowers, plant some zinnias. The best part? The more you cut them - the more they bloom!
