One of my favorite memories as a kid was when my mom would make this very ice cream cake. I've updated it just a smidge with the option for a homemade ganache and fresh whipped cream but mom used jarred ice cream topping and Cool Whip and we still scarfed it down!

I have been harping a lot on panzanella but to me, it’s the quintessential summer salad. The freshest vegetables and chunks of crispy pan toasted bread soak up a garlicky dressing 💋 not to mention, you could make it and eat it all week. I never get tired of it.

Part 2 of what this new nonna made for the new parents.
Panzanella. Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, red onion, torn bread, best olive oil you have.
I pack the vegetables separately so nothing gets soggy. Dressing in a jelly jar, a little extra for the next day.
Summer in a bowl. They deserve it.

Rotisserie chickens end up being a lot of waste in my house and you pay for a lot of bones that you end up not wanting or using. This full proof method for cooking chicken breast is complete in 21 minutes and I use it for everything for enchiladas to sandwiches to salads to soups.

I have been a nonna for exactly three weeks🩷And I already have opinions😂…about what the new parents actually need in their fridge.
i’ll bet you’re surprised to learn that it’s not lasagna.
Don’t get me wrong. Lasagna is a love language. But new parents need something they can pull from all week.

So that’s why I brought this chicken Shred it into pasta, slice it over a salad, stuff it in a sandwich. Something that works hard for them even when they are exhausted.

Pt 5 of what I served at my kids grad parties. If a dip could tell a story, it’s this one. It’s been privy to more gossip and party conversations at graduation parties, book clubs, and family gatherings than any other recipe I’ve ever made.

You don't need your glasses...yes, the photo is blurry because this is one of my first recipes developed and photographed when I started J+N. But it is still one that if I make it for dinner, my fairly picky cute hubby will devour it. Wedge salad meets garlic bread with some crispy prosciutto.
