Pleasant Ridge Kidrock Ella, Sr. 3 year old.
She placed 12th in the open show and 5th in the junior international jersey show. On the halter our life long friend, Cade Bachelor. We are head over heels for this cow. She is on her 2nd lactation and we are excited for what her future holds!
Pleasant Ridge Kidrock Amor Fati- ET, Winter heifer calf, owned with Lane Bollenbacherā Full sister to Kidrock Ella ā placing 11th in the open show & 6th in the Jr. show! On the halter is the wonderful Ms. Ellie Bollenbacher.
This show is so phenomenal when it comes to genetics, talent, and hard work. The cows at this caliber are unlike anything we get to see at any other show. The competition is fierce & the hard work that goes into what it takes to get here should never be down played. Families spend endless hours perfecting the most elite dairy cows in the world. When we come to this stage we know how hard itās going to be to place and itās hard not to leave feeling distraught. However, it always brings us to our why. Why do we do this? Why do we spend the endless hours? Why is it important for us to keep showing up? Itās never been about the winning (although we sure love to win & compete with the best of them), itās always been about what happens when our family comes together to make this all happen. We love it. We truly have a passion for these cows and learning how to make them excel. Itās truly about the love of this industry and of course the one who instilled this love into our hearts in the first place. ā This was the first world dairy expo without Ronnie Mosser for us and as we come up on a year of firsts without him it puts a lot into perspective. We will continue to work hard, show up, and grow!
Thank you Pacific Edge, Austin Nauman, Cole Partridge and Mike Podschadly for prepping them! It truly takes a village!
