You’ve been seeing a lot of the vineyard lately, so let’s talk about what’s actually growing here. 🍇

Our estate stretches across roughly 100 acres, following the natural rises and falls of the land. Of those, 10 acres are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon.

Those hills aren’t just beautiful to look at. The varying terrain and growing conditions help shape the grapes each season — part of what we mean when we talk about a w**e’s terroir and the sense of place you eventually experience in the glass.

And while Cabernet Sauvignon is what we grow here at Adruni, it’s not the only varietal you’ll find in our w**es. We also source select grapes, including Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc, from our friends in Alexander Valley.

There are many important parts of the grape-growing season, and harvest is certainly one of them. 🍇 As we prepare to bring in another vintage, we can’t help but reflect on how we got here.

Three years ago, Adruni was little more than a dream, a lot of determination, and a vineyard we believed in. Today, we get to celebrate another harvest because of one very important reason — you.

Your support, encouragement, and every bottle you’ve shared along the way have helped make this journey possible. So this celebration is for you, too. 🍷

Crisp mornings, juicy Cabernet—it’s almost harvest time.

Across Dry Creek Valley and Sonoma County, the vines have been ahead of schedule all season long. We saw Verasion (when the grapes turn from green to purple) start in July instead of August, and overall our area is seeing the earliest harvest in 40 years! Our neighbors have already harvested varietals like Zinfandel. Cabernet Sauvignon is always one of the last to be picked, but it’s any day now!
