We are thrilled to host the American Travelling Morrice for a performance of traditional Morris Dancing outside the Farm Store this Sunday, August 9 at 3pm! These performances are always fun for the whole family, and we hope you'll join us.

The performance is part of the troupe's 49th annual tour of the tri-state area.

Dolci Momenti is set up outside the Farm Store today offering delicious Pizzelles in a variety of flavors!

These delicious Italian wafer cookies are handmade and full of flavor! We are giving away one (1) Pizzelle with each coffee purchase at Rural Grounds while supplies last!

If one cookie isn't enough, you can purchase more directly from Dolci Momenti. And starting at 1pm, additional artisans will be set up from 1-5pm for our monthly Makers Market!

Reminder: Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 13 from 8am-2pm, Steel to Stone will offering knife sharpening services outside the Farm Store. Proprietor Wayne brings 50+ years of knife sharpening experience to our community. Bring your knives in for a spring tune-up and re-discover the joys of easy slicing!

7:30 am: accepting drop-offs; pick up by 3:00
Price: $1.50 per blade inch (cash preferred)
Repairs: Cost based on extent of repair needed

🌱 Now Open: Rural Grounds ☕️🥤

This spring, we’re excited to introduce Rural Grounds—our new coffee and smoothie spot, now open just outside the Farm Store in a custom food truck.

Open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Rural Grounds is, at its heart, simple: a welcoming place to connect. Stop by after drop-off, meet a friend, or pause for something nourishing in the middle of your day.

On the menu: rich espresso, creamy lattes, and fresh smoothies made to order. Think cappuccinos, cortados, and Americanos, alongside matcha, chai, and classic flavors like caramel, mocha, and vanilla. Smoothies range from berry to tropical mango to a vibrant green blend—with add-ins like protein, chia, and our own Hawthorne Valley Farm yogurt.

Opening on Earth Day felt fitting. Not as a grand statement, but as a quiet commitment—to reduce waste, source thoughtfully, and take meaningful steps toward a Net Positive campus.
