Love love my IPP’s in more ways than one! ❤️ felt like cooking last night, so here is what I came up with! Seriously delicious and so easy to cook. To the left, only pork salt and a bit of red pepper flakes If you like heat- all on the cast iron skillet. Added sautéed red cabbage, broccoli and onions for veggies and a healthier version of fried rice- red, wild, purple and brown rice with garlic and diced onions. To the right, trying the breakfast sausage links for breakfast . It’s a great day for lovin’ my IPP’s 🥰

Happy New Year from our farm! May 2026 bring lots of belly rubs and scratchies in the warm sun. 🥰❤️

Update on the turnips- so it appears the turnips are sweeter after a freeze. This is all we’ve been able to find! 😆

A 5th generation, certified organic farm in Paxton, is shaping our palates to taste the difference in their homegrown spirits. Silver Tree Beer & Spirits, a sibling-owned distillery, is keeping it entirely local, down to the barrels that age their whiskey. Listen as Terri talks to Dallas Glazik to learn about the beginning of the business, the distillation process, and how we can experience their various offerings. 🥃 🌾

Stay tuned in to plan your perfect weekend in the Champaign-Urbana area, with art fairs, antiques, robots, cover bands, and inspiring short films. 🎨🎤🤖🎥

Organic corn is out! We let the pigs loose and now they get to enjoy the covers. So we have, purple top turnips, daikon radishes, leftover corn, okra, red clover, flax, a sunflower (🌻)or two, buckwheat and fenugreek. I’m sure I left out a few things, but there is nice mix they can feast on. My girl, Ginger, enjoying the pasture!

A HUGE thank you to Adam Elder and the Drummer Creek crew for promoting Old Timers Ag yesterday! What an amazing meal !! Thank you for doing what you do!

We also want to thank everyone who purchased our products! What started out as a high school Prairieland CEO project has grown into a business that not only promotes sustainable, regenerative farming practices, but also produces some of the juiciest pork.

Once again thank you for your support yesterday! We truly appreciate it.
