Smokin’ Aces BBQ is headed to The Jack!

But before we make that trip to Lynchburg, we’ve got some business to handle at The American Royal.

We’ve been blessed with one heck of a year, and now we’re asking for a little help from our friends, family, and supporters to help us chase these goals and keep this dream rolling.

We’re offering sponsorship spots on our team shirts for $200. Your logo will ride with us as we compete at two of the biggest BBQ contests in the country — and everywhere else this crazy BBQ road takes us.

Went to el campo this weekend for the chrome hero’s cookoff and turned some meat in we thought was good, judges didn’t agree with us but that’s ok, that’s BBQ. What a weekend to be had at the Jerry busby memorial cookoff, the last time we were in hondo we had things happen during our cook processes that were uncharacteristic for how our day usually goes and it showed. But we wanted to come back and redeem ourselves and try to take home a wrestling belt.

We ended the day finishing 9th overall in the CBA 4 meats with a 1st place rib, but in order to get the wrestling g belt you had to turn in the ancillaries also. Tiger pulled out that 1st place bean he has been chasing around for some time now, We also added a Perfect Perfect 1st place Open to get us the Overall GC Wrestling Belt….we feel a little better about hondo than we previously did haha.

Congratulations to Bayou BBQ for GC and Big Dog BBQ on there RGC, also to Wicked R BBQ for there overall RGC and wrestling belt of their own, and congrats to all of our friends who heard there songs play
