Sometimes things just don’t go your way at a cookoff, this weekend at hondo was not our weekend for sure. We ran into problems on almost every meat we cooked and it showed but that’s BBQ, the competition trail is definitely a love-hate relationship for us. Congratulations to everyone that heard there songs play and to Smoking & Toasting BBQ for GC and Sure Shot BBQ for RGC.

Best we could manage was a 19th pork and ended up 40th overall. We are gonna take a much needed 2 week break before we hit the gas again.
