We truly had a BLAST at our first ever Live Like a Local Market — with some of our favorite local businesses, food trucks, musical acts, and non-profit organizations!🍂 These are the things that make our local community here in PHX so truly special, and we’re honored to have played a small part in bringing them together for a night of fun 🌵 ⠀

🚨 Update alert! 🚨

We are putting our weekly Sampler delivery on pause. I could write an essay about why, and I did try to go live earlier…but I learned that Instagram live from your car, after a long day, and on an empty stomach…not a great combo 🤦🏼‍♂️ so I will attempt another, cheerier live sometime this week and will upload afterwards. The TLDR: there are lots of exciting things happening behind the scenes that need my attention, I’m taking some vacation, and life is crazy…I think that about covers it?🤔

We are STILL offering our shipped Locavore Boxes and will be delivering them locally on 6/27 and 7/11…so we aren’t going far ❤️

We’ll keep you updated here in the meantime — thank you for an amazing first year in business. Here’s to many more!🥳🎉🌵

I’ve talked on here about how, growing up, my dad’s small business was the spark for what became a full blown obsession with Arizona businesses…but the truth is that so much of who my dad is has been formative in how I interact with the world, in every way, and what I expect from those around me.

He loves fiercely but gently, he works hard every day to provide for his family, he’s been my biggest fan in literally everything that I do, and he’s never once told me he didn’t believe I could do something I dreamt of…even if I have a tendency to dream big. He has a kind of boundless love and acceptance that have allowed me to live in the comfort of knowing he’ll always be there, no matter what. He’s the foundation on which my entire life and self have been built, and MAN am I thankful to have such a strong foundation.

Happy Father’s Day to my dad, to all the dads out there holding it down, and to all of you with father figures to celebrate in your lives. May we know them, may we cherish them, and may we strive to be them one day. Thanks dad for being the best ❤️🌵
