This is a chocolate 🍫 chip base donut, dipped in our classic vanilla icing & topped with our house made rainbow sanding sugars 😊

We use natural dehydrated foods to color our sanding sugar. This is completely dye free 👍

Hi friends!
So many new followers & I wanted to reintroduce myself & explain the who and why behind VANFRIENDLY BAKERY during May, which is month 🍩

I’m Jiselle and this is little Van the namesake behind the business. Van was diagnosed with life threatening food allergies at 9months old after ingesting peanuts. We manage over 15 food allergies with him. I’ve worked in culinary since I was in my early 20s. Various restaurants & bakeries. I took what I learned over the years to make my little Van his first ever batch of Vanfriendly donuts for his 2nd birthday! Unfortunately I couldn’t just order him any cake from a bakery. So I had to take matters into my own hands. Except I had no idea how to cook allergy friendly. So that was a BIG learning curve. Luckily I made delicious donuts because they were a hit at his party! Family and friends were telling me to sell them jokingly, which is funny cause I had just lost my job. So I took their advice and did it. Vanfriendly is now 5 years old and has been supplying our local food allergy community with delicious baked goods since 2021. We had moved to LA in 2021 right after we opened and we flourished there. BUT Then we decided to move back to AZ in 2024 because we just missed home sooo much 🏜️ It was a huge risk to take. We lost all of our customer base we had gained in LA and had to basically restart here in AZ. But you all showed up for us here and we have grown so much with our community support and I feel so grateful for all of you❤️

Here at Vanfriendly we like to use cleaner ingredients than you would find in your usual baked goods. I like to feed my customers like I would feed my kids, with their health in mind. We use special ingredients through out our menu that have been meticulously picked out that are free from the top 9 major food allergens to keep our allergy customers safe. Trust is a crucial part when cooking/baking for someone with food allergies. So thank you for trusting me!
