Sometimes you want something tasty to eat without thinking about its nutritional profile (and that’s a ok).

But on days you’re craving a sweet treat that’s made with simple ingredients, this recipe for Chocolate Coconut Balls is a winner! šŸ«šŸ„„

¼ cup Drink Wholesome protein powder
2 ripe bananas
2 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp coconut oil (optional)

Mash the bananas in a large bowl. Stir in the Drink Wholesome and shredded coconut.
Roll into bite size balls and freeze for 1 hr.
Melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Dip each protein bite in the melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined plate or tray.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.

I used to BEG my mom to let me get Yoplait Trix Yogurt (remember those swirled, brightly colored yogurts as a kid)?! 🌈

I was usually unsuccessful in convincing her that they contained an appropriate amount of sugar for a kid.šŸ˜•

When I was making my Strawberry Protein Yogurt bowl the other day, I was reminded of how similar the color was.

Our recently restocked Strawberry Protein Powder is made with real strawberries and sweetened with just a touch of monk fruit.

It will scratch your itch for those nostalgic flavors without the sugar high or tummy upset. Trust me on this one.

I started Drink Wholesome because I couldn’t find a protein powder that didn’t wreck my stomach.

Turns out I wasn’t alone. Nearly 2 out of 3 people deal with frequent GI issues like bloating, heartburn, or stomach pain at some point in their lives.

That’s not a niche problem. That’s most of us.

So if protein powder has ever left you with unpleasant digestive side effects, you’ll resonate with Drink Wholesome.

(We even have a sensitive stomach guarantee — if it upsets your stomach, it’s free!).

Please don’t choke down a chalky protein shake!

With Drink Wholesome protein powders, there’s a better way to enjoy your protein (bonus, it’s made with easily digestible ingredients).

Here’s the easy recipe for my latest Salted Honey coffee obsession:

2 shots espresso (or ½ cup strong coffee)
¾ cup milk of choice
1 tbsp honey
Pinch of flaky sea salt
1 serving Drink Wholesome
Ice

Stir the honey and a pinch of sea salt into the hot coffee until it’s completely dissolved. Let the coffee cool.
Use an electric whisk or blender to combine the cooled coffee, Drink Wholesome, and milk.
Fill a glass with ice and pour the latte over top.

Reflux shouldn’t mean giving up your protein goals. 🌟

We teamed up with reflux specialist Molly Pelletier, MS, RD - Acid Reflux/GERD/LPR to build a protein powder with zero of the usual triggers: no dairy, no artificial sweeteners, no fillers.

Just 6 real ingredients: egg whites, collagen, coconut, turmeric, ginger, and maple sugar.

I make the best protein powder for sensitive stomachs because it’s additive, dairy, and gluten-free.

It’s also made from minimally-processed protein sources like egg whites and almonds.

Other protein powders are made from ultra-processed protein concentrates and isolates, which look nothing like real food.

You won’t find a protein powder that’s more stomach-friendly.

Trust me...I’ve tried.

My brother, Jack, is the one who developed the recipe for Drink Wholesome protein powder after struggling to digest alternatives.

Yup, you guess it, turns out it was the ingredients that needed a refresh.

To make Drink Wholesome, Jack actually went to the local natural grocery store and started experimenting. He used some of his favorite protein sources like egg white and almonds as the base.

He made sure to create something that is:

1. free from artificial flavorings and sweeteners
2. made from simple, minimally processed protein sources (no protein concentrates/isolates)
3. dairy and gluten free

You do NOT have to be bloated after every protein shake. I promise there is a better way.

Ok, so perhaps you have a digestive disease or a sensitive stomach that means your diet is restricted. 😭

This can make it harder to get enough protein in your diet (and do so without painful side effects like bloating).

I was like you once.

Drink Wholesome was born from this exact frustration. It’s full of the protein you need, and nothing you don’t.

This particular flavor was made in conjunction with Molly Pelletier, a dietitian who specializes in acid reflux.

I stand by our products with a sensitive stomach guarantee! Yup, if it upsets your stomach, it’s free.

Why would I buy a blended shake at a restaurant when I can make my own that tastes SO much better and is easy to digest?

This orange cream blended protein drink is so incredible, I plan to make it weekly...

In a blender combine:

1 serving Drink Wholesome Vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup ice
1/3 cup milk of choice
¼ cup plain Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)
2–3 tbsp fresh orange juice
½ tsp finely grated orange zest
1–2 tsp maple syrup or honey

Whipped Cream to top :)
