Hastings Farm Hastings Farm established in 1817. The cattle roam the hillside pastures and the grass land makes great hay that we sell. Need firewood we have that to.

We sell our pasture raised beef,pork, and veal along with eggs and seasonal vegetables.

It’s that amazing time of year again hay season. The Herefords enjoyed a couple broken bales don’t they look like they need it. There are also new babies of a different 4 legged variety Blue had 6 beautiful pups.

The hayfields all had there needs met yesterday as the grass gets greener and grows for all our happy hay customers. While fertilizer costs have risen significantly the needs of the land is still so important. Doing it right for the future of this beautiful land we tend to both here at the farm and the land we use owned by others who trust us to treat it like our own.Many thanks for everyone who helps us get it in, buys from us and trusts us to feed there animals.Cheers to spring time, green grass and sunshine!

Little morning workout for today’s 50 bales heading out. If only these walls could talk thankful to have Ernie to tell lots of the history. Most of his dad’s stalls on this side of the barn are used daily. The hay mow is getting closer to empty just the way we want it as we watch the green come back to the landscape.
